Federico Dal Pozzo

Venice (1976), he lives in Turin.
Sound artist, electroacoustic composer and musician, he studied drums with the Masters Mario Bracco and Vittorio Panza. From 1999 to 2007 he worked as a performer in the “Dadadang_parata per percussioni in movimento” with which he played in the most important European festivals.
In 2007 he graduated in the Recording Workshop (Chillicothe, Ohio_U.S.A.) in “Audio Recording and Music Production”.
In 2014 he studied at the Ionian University (Corfu_Gr) “Summer Academy of Electroacoustic Music and Live Electronics” with Annette Vande Gorne and Theodoros Lotis. Specialized in “Wavefield Synthesis” with Hubert Westkemper, he completed his training with Markus Stockhausen in “Intuitive Music”.
Sound Designer for video-installations, interactive installations, theater, contemporary circus and Italian and European dance companies. He collaborates with Italian and international artists for sound performances (Lorenzo Abattoir, Alessandro Sciaraffa, Federico Pimpão, Error-43, Sofia Bertomeu,…).
Since 2017 he realized Sleeping Concert for Palazzo Grassi (ve), Nexst (To), ex-Mattatoio (Rm).
Since 2015 he has been producing concerts and sound performances using materials such as glass, ice and sparkling water.
